C8 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 with a rumbling V8 caught on video

A few prototypes of the C8 Chevrolet Corvette were recently spotted testing in Colorado. Despite the heavy camouflage, it is clear these aren’t your standard Corvettes.
With the Z06 already on sale, the next big launch is expected to be the C8 Corvette ZR1. Looking at the aggressive stance of these prototypes, it would be safe to assume that this might be the new ZR1.
If you think the Corvette Z06 with its 5.5-liter flat-plane crank V8 sounds brilliant, wait till you hear the upcoming Corvette ZR1. It is likely to use a heavily modified version of this engine. Rumours suggest that it might get dual turbochargers to boost overall performance to 850 hp.
