Last week, we shared the first leaked images of the production-spec Bugatti Bolide. The pics came out just as the company was preparing for the official reveal. The fact that they’ve just released a teaser suggests the unveiling is just around the corner.
The teaser images showcase a Bolide with exposed carbon bodywork. It carries forward the ‘X’ signature lights up front, but as we’ve reported in our earlier post, Bugatti has made several minute changes to the track hypercar.
The second teaser reveals one of the revisions made to the Bolide’s aero package. As you can see, it has four louvres on the front fenders, as opposed to two on the concept.
Apart from a modified aero package, the Bolide will also receive a few design tweaks on the interior. You can check out the production-spec Bolide’s interior here.
The Bugatti Bolide uses a heavily modified version of the 8.0-liter W16 engine from the Chiron. It is said to produce 1850 hp and 1364 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with a 7-speed DSG and an all-wheel drive system.
The Bolide is claimed to have a power-to-weight ratio of 0.67 kg/hp and is capable of accelerating from 0-60 mph in 2.17 seconds, while its top speed will be around 328 mph.
