Bugatti Chiron successor teased ahead of its global debut

Bugatti has just confirmed the launch date for the Chiron successor. The new hypercar will make its global debut on June 20, 2024.

Along with the announcement, Bugatti has released a short teaser that partially reveals the front end of the Chiron successor. It also confirms our earlier report about the redesigned horseshoe grille. As you can see, the grille looks much larger than before, while the bonnet has a prominent spine in the centre.

According to Bugatti, the new hypercar “is a completely bespoke design, engineered from the ground-up on the three pillars of beauty, luxury and performance.” The design is said to draw inspiration from Bugattis of the past, including the Type 57 SC Atlantic, the Type 41 Royale and the Type 35.

The Chiron successor is based on an all-new chassis and will be powered by a V16 hybrid powertrain. The new powertrain is said to develop around 1800 hp, which should be enough to propel the car to over 300 mph.
