The one-off Bugatti Brouillard was recently spotted testing on a public road for the first time. And now, Bugatti’s first hypercar under the Solitaire programme has been recorded doing a launch at an airfield.
The video has been captured from a distance, which is understandable, considering the Brouillard is on an airstrip of sorts. We can clearly see the car taking off the line with brute thrust as its nose lifts and rear end squats, pushing the vehicle at max force.
The video then zooms out and shows the Brouillard gaining speed at an incredible pace, but it might not appear so in the footage. We don’t have any official figures yet, but since it uses the same 8.0-litre W16 engine that powers the Mistral, we are pretty convinced that this thing will be quick and fast.
The Bugatti Brouillard is a custom one-off coupe based on the Chiron platform. It has a large horseshoe grille and vertically stacked LEDs, as well as a more prominent front splitter and aero elements along the sides. The rear features the X-shaped LED taillights and a fixed wing. We shall soon see the car being handed over to the customer once the pre-delivery tests are completed.
