The wait for the BMW M3 40 Jahre Edition in China is finally over. The German auto giant has confirmed that it is going to launch the model this month.
So far, there was no official launch date for the BMW M3 40 Jahre Edition in China. It was just announced that BMW will introduce it sometime in H2 2026. But now, we have an actual date.

The Jahre Edition will be up for grabs in China from Aug 21 at the Chengdu Auto Show. It will be made available in limited numbers. Only 40 units of the car will arrive with an even split between sedan and touring wagon body types.
While we now have a launch date, the prices are still under wraps. The regular version of the BMW M3 in China retails at 863,900 yuan (about $128,000), whereas the M3 Touring starts at 943,900 yuan (roughly $140,000). Expect the Jahre Edition to be priced higher.
