Aston Martin had been quietly developing a special one-off track toy for an American billionaire. The secret project was revealed when the car was spotted during its shakedown earlier this year.
The single-seater hypercar was recently spotted at the Algarve circuit in Portugal as Aston Martin engineers continue to fine-tune the machine before handing it over to Ken Griffin. The latest video shared on social media is a 3-minute ode to the naturally aspirated V12 engine.
Aston’s wild track hypercar seems to be derived from the Valkyrie AMR Pro. It has an F1-style nose with exposed wishbones and inboard dampers. A single cockpit with the halo roll-over protection device and the engine intake positioned just above the driver’s head. It features a shrink-wrapped engine cover with a shark fin that extends to the massive rear spoiler and F1-esque bargeboards and floor.
As per rumors, the car packs 1200 hp, making it around 10 seconds quicker than an F1 car.
