Aston Martin Vanquish: The Right Choice

Aston Martin makes some truly great cars. The Aston Martin Vanquish is their flagship gran tourer with a familiar V12 upfront. Still, compare it with the competition and the Vanquish feels like a car from yesterday. For sure, Aston Martin knows how to design cars and despite a brand new ZF 8-speed gearbox, reduced fuel consumption and lower emissions, the Vanquish’s V12 falls behind its competition.

Progress- so to speak has been slow at Aston Martin. There is huge potential for further improvement, be it the engine or the infotainment system. The Vanquish has always been a great GT car and we don’t expect Aston to put in a zillion horsepower engine into but they surely can improve on the specific output of the 6.0-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine that we all love.
