A video on social media has captured a heart-in-mouth moment when an ignorant Ferrari F40 driver almost got T-boned. The incident is said to have occurred in Hong Kong.
The footage shows the iconic red supercar exiting a building as several bystanders gather nearby to film it. The F40 comes up to an intersection and a bus is coming down the road at speed. The Ferrari driver looks left, but instead of stopping and checking both ways, he keeps pulling out right into the path of the bus.
He eventually spots the approaching bus and tries to swerve away. But it is the bus driver’s quick reaction that saves the day. He brakes hard and brings the mass mover to a stop just in time, narrowly avoiding a collision.
But the worst part is that the Ferrari F40 driver apparently just took off without stopping and acknowledging the incident. A collision could have caused serious damage to both vehicles, particularly the rare Ferrari.
