A Koenigsegg Agera R has been spotted in Taiwan, and the hypercar has predictably attracted plenty of attention.
A social media video shows the red example with white highlights around the lower body and wheels making a few acceleration runs, along with some rev bombs and startup footage. At one point, people can even be seen rushing over to catch a glimpse of the car.
And it is easy to understand the excitement. The Koenigsegg Agera R packs a 5.0-litre twin-turbo V8 producing up to 1,140 hp and 885 lb-ft of torque when running on E85 or E100 fuel. It sends power through a seven-speed paddle-shift transmission and weighs just 1,330 kg dry.
Koenigsegg claimed a 0-62 mph time of 2.8 seconds, while the car famously set a 0-186-0 mph record of 21.19 seconds in 2011. Only 18 Agera Rs were produced between 2011 and 2014, making any public appearance a special occasion.
