The Porsche Cayenne Electric now has an expanded options list. The 2027 model year brings several new features aimed at making the high-tech EV even more convenient.
The main addition is an optional electrically operated door system. A short pull on the handle activates motors that open or close all four doors, while buttons, the infotainment screen and the digital key can also control them. The driver’s door can even close automatically when the seat belt is fastened, or the brake pedal is pressed. Traditional manual operation remains possible.

Wireless charging is another major addition. The system uses a permanently installed ground pad that starts charging automatically when the Porsche Cayenne Electric is parked over it. It can transfer power at up to 11 kW with around 90% efficiency. The weatherproof pad can be installed outdoors, while motion and foreign-object detection shut the system down if something gets too close.

Porsche has also upgraded the front-seat massage function. The new 4D audio massage system uses 16 air cushions and six sound actuators in each seat, with five massage programmes and adjustable vibration intensity.
