It isn’t every day that a Valkyrie casually cruises through New York, and this one had an interesting companion. A matte-black Lamborghini Temerario was spotted following the Aston Martin. The two matte-black supercars were recently spotted together on the streets, although it remains unclear whether they were travelling as a pair.
The Valkyrie immediately grabs attention with its dramatic shape, matte-black finish and yellow accents. Interestingly, the car appeared to be moving almost silently on pure electric power, with no obvious exhaust note as it made its way through traffic. That changed when a loud exhaust sound suddenly filled the street.
It initially seemed as though the Valkyrie had finally fired up its engine. It hadn’t. The noise was coming from the Lamborghini Temerario following behind, also finished in matte black.
The Valkyrie combines a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 with a hybrid system, producing around 1160 hp and revving beyond 11,000 rpm. The Temerario takes a different approach, pairing a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 with three electric motors to produce 907 hp.
