Porsche has been working on a new 911 GT3 equipped with a ducktail spoiler. It is expected to be called the 911 GT3 Bergsport and will be unveiled on September 1.
The guys at Carbonwurks have beaten Porsche to it, though. They’ve already built a 911 GT3 with a ducktail spoiler and recently shared a video showcasing the entire installation process, which looks pretty straightforward.
The bespoke wing created by Carbonwurks is made from carbon fibre. It is painted to match the car’s exterior, while the carbon fibre is visible on the inner section. It even has an inbuilt LED brake light.
The 911 GT3 Bergsport is expected to be a limited-edition Europe-specific model. However, it will lose its exclusivity as soon as aftermarket brands start coming up with similar solutions.
