A new Toyota GR GT spy shot has surfaced. It shows a test vehicle that has been spotted on public roads in the US.
The spy image gives a rear quarter view of the GR GT. It is carrying a matte black finish on the body and a glossy black roof. Maybe the matte black portion is some kind of camouflage. But there is nothing left to hide now, as we already know what the car actually looks like.
Apart from that, the Toyota GR GT test vehicle has three red and white stripes at the back – one is between the taillights, and the other two are located on either side of the licence plate at the rear bumper. Perhaps, they give some sort of indication that this isn’t a final product or a vehicle under test.
Toyota recently announced that the GR GT has not been sold out in the US, unlike what had been reported earlier. The company clarified that the “sold out” comment made by Senior VP of Toyota Motor North America, Andrew Gilleland, was misinterpreted. Gilleland was referring to the level of interest for the GR GT at The Quail and that the brand has not presold any cars yet.
