Each year, Bugatti brings something special to Pebble Beach. This year’s highlight is the one-off Destrier based on the Bolide track hypercar. But there’s another special Bugatti that may not appear in an official press release.

The car we’re talking about is the Bugatti Veyron ‘Le Directeur’. You might find it driving around in the area during Monterey Car Week. It is a special one-off model created for Frank Heyl, Director of Design Bugatti Rimac.

The Veyron ‘Le Directeur’ is based on chassis 795021. It was customized by Frank himself and features a soothing metallic green exterior with L’Or Blanc-inspired graphics in a lighter shade. It has the wheels from the Chiron Profilée, which have been painted to match the exterior. The underside of the rear spoiler has ‘Le Directeur’ script.

The interior of this special one-off Veyron is trimmed in a two-tone tan and cream leather upholstery. The centre console has the Veyron’s signature aluminium finish. The headliner is quite special and appears to feature some of the sketches Frank has created during his time as Bugatti’s design head.
