A 2005 Porsche Carrera GT is heading to auction. One of its key highlights is that it carries the beautiful and attractive Ferrari Rosso Fuoco exterior finish that is hard to ignore.
You can imagine how difficult and painstaking it must have been to repaint the entire car immaculately, that too in the ever-so-special Ferrari Red. It was stripped down to its spine, and modern tech and industry knowledge were used to get the job done over a 3-month period. And you can see the phenomenal results.
This Porsche Carrera GT is one of 644 units sold in the US. It has done 3471 miles, has removable roof panels, and comes with two factory keys. Another interesting feature is that it is equipped with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Powering this Carrera GT is a Formula 1-derived 5.7L V10 engine that churns out 603 hp and 435 lb-ft of torque. It is enough to push this car to a top speed of 205 mph.
