The new Donkervoort P24 RS is now open for orders in Australia, and for the first time, it’s available in right-hand drive.
Markets like Australia, the UK, and Japan can now access the car directly, though numbers remain limited. Fewer than 30 right-hand drive cars will be built, out of a total production run capped at just 150 units.
The P24 RS marks a major evolution for Donkervoort. It ditches previous Audi-sourced engines in favour of an in-house developed twin-turbo 3.5-litre V6. Output is flexible too. Thanks to a “Power To Choose” system, drivers can switch between 400, 500, and 600 hp depending on mood or conditions.
But the real story is weight. At just 780 kg dry, this thing is incredibly light. In fact, Donkervoort claims it’s the only production car with 600 hp that weighs under a tonne. It’ll hit 200 km/h (124 mph) in just 7.4 seconds and push beyond 300 km/h (186 mph), while generating up to 2.3g in the corners.
