Spanish F1 driver Fernando Alonso has been spotted driving a Bugatti EB110 GT. The two-time F1 world champion was filmed cruising on the streets of Monaco in this supercar from the 90s.
Even though the Bugatti EB110 GT is quite old now, it doesn’t fail to attract attention. The one caught on camera is finished in what appears to be a very elegant and subtle maroon colour. Seeing a set of halogen headlights in today’s modern era brings a smile to our faces.
We can see in the video that Alonso is driving the Bugatti alone. There’s no one in the co-passenger seat. Even at such slow speeds, we can hear the supercar’s howling exhaust note coming from the enormous V12 engine.
Speaking of, it is a 3.5-litre quad-turbocharged V12 engine that makes 553 hp and 451 lb ft of torque. It is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission accompanied by an AWD system. The Bugatti EB110 GT is capable of doing the 0-60 mph run in 3.3 seconds and can achieve a top speed of 212 mph.
