De Tomaso P72-Munich-2

Curvaceous De Tomaso P72 spotted on the wet streets of Munich

The De Tomaso P72 is indeed a unique-looking car thanks to its curvaceous body. Inspired by the P70 racing car and designed by Jowyn Wong of Wyn Design, it has been crafted to stop time and turn heads. And we’re sure it’s been doing just that on the wet streets of Munich.

Spotted looking sexy in the rain, this is the first production model of the P72, which was recently revealed to the public. We can say that because it has the same licence plate. While we have seen the V8-powered car in pictures earlier, it looks much more stunning out in the real world. Wouldn’t you agree?

The De Tomaso P72 is flaunting its deep blue colour called ‘Aurelian Night’, complemented by the rose gold accents for contrast. Even the wheels are finished in rose gold for that unique touch. And the rose gold treatment continues on the inside. It features classy analogue dials and bespoke switchgear with milled aluminium components, all finished in rose gold.

The 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine of the De Tomaso P72 makes 700 hp and 605 lb-ft of torque. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The car is equipped with push-rod suspension and 3-way manually adjustable dampers to offer an old-school, and mechanical driving experience.
