The 2027 Audi Q7 has finally been revealed. Depending on the market, Audi offers the third-gen Q7 with turbocharged V6 petrol and V6 diesel mild-hybrid engines, while the SQ7 gets a V8.
The new Audi Q7 is based on the Premium Platform Combustion (PPC) architecture. Unlike the previous generation, the new model has a more muscular design, featuring a brand-new grille and a split headlamp setup. The SQ7, being the performance version, adopts a slightly sportier design, with different wheels and blacked-out elements.
The new Q7 is available in 5-, 6-, and 7-seater configurations. It has a brand-new interior with three massive screens and a new steering wheel. The features list is long and includes a panoramic sunroof, a 22-speaker B&O sound system, multi-zone automatic climate control, adaptive air suspension, and ADAS.
In Europe, the standard Q7 is available with a 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system, which makes around 290 hp.
The new-gen Q7 for the US market comes with a 2.9-liter V6 turbocharged petrol engine that delivers 429 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque. Note that this is the same engine that powered the old RS5.
The sportier SQ7 uses a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, which produces 591 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, which enables the SUV to sprint from 0-62 mph in 3.7 seconds.
