A couple of days back, BMW dropped a teaser of the all-electric M3 on their YouTube and social media. The carmaker has been tight-lipped about its launch timeline, but a fresh set of leaked images may have just uncovered the mystery.
The images are from Le Mans in France, where BMW has set up a fan zone for the upcoming 24-hour race. There’s a display with what appears to be the first-ever electric M3 parked inside. Clearly, BMW is preparing for the world premiere of the M3 electric.

The M3 electric will be based on BMW’s Neue Klasse platform. Reports suggest that it will be a quad-motor setup, with an electric motor on all four corners and a combined output of 1000 hp.
We got a glimpse of the M3 electric a couple of months ago, when the first images had leaked online. The car seen in the recent image looks similar, with fang-like LED DRLS and a pair of square LEDs on the bumper.
