This radical EV is not an Aston Martin, but CEER EV from Saudi Arabia

Images of a prototype believed to be a radical new electric car had surfaced online over the weekend. It was widely reported to be Aston Martin’s first electric Lagonda. However, it was an error; a misjudgement. The test mule you see in this image is actually an electric car by CEER Motors.

CEER Motors is Saudi Arabia’s first homegrown electric vehicle brand. Details are scarce, but looking at the spy images, it appears that the brand is here to set the performance EV space on fire.

CEER EVs will be manufactured at a brand new facility located in the King Abdullah Economic City. The factory includes a press shop, paint shop and general assembly area. It is capable of producing 38 jobs per hour.

CEER Motors plans to introduce its first EV in the last quarter of 2026.
