DK Engineering will be presenting the Pagani Zonda Nero at the Monterey Car Week. The one-off, which is essentially a Tricolore manual gearbox, will not just be a crowd-puller but will also be offered for sale.
The Zonda Nero was originally delivered to a Hungarian businessman in 2003. It left the factory with a silver exterior, which has been tweaked and upgraded over the years. The current specification was commissioned by Pagani UK.

In its current form, the Zonda Nero features a black exterior with several parts borrowed from the Zonda Tricolore. It has front canards, side air intakes, as well as the larger wing and shark fin from the ultra-rare model.
It’s not just about cosmetic upgrades though. Under the skin, the Zonda Nero is mostly a Tricolore. Power comes from a 7.3-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine that delivers 661 hp and 575 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox, making it the only Zonda with this engine and gearbox combination. The ceramic-coated titanium exhaust with Inconel manifold, titanium con rods and carbon ceramic brakes are also borrowed from the Tricolore.
