One of the first Hennessey Venom F5s built will be up for sale at the Amelia Island Auction on March 1-2, 2024. The hypercar is estimated to sell at $1.2 million-$1.65 million.
Hennessey is building just 24 examples of the Venom F5. This one here is chassis no. 2. It is finished in a stunning Lausanne Silver exterior with blue and red pinstripes and has an Ink leather interior. The car is basically brand-new, with just 229 miles on the odometer.
The Venom F5 is powered by a 6.6-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 engine that develops 1817 hp @ 8000 rpm and 1,193 lb-ft @ 5000 rpm. The engine is hooked up to a semi-automatic single-clutch transmission that drives the rear wheels.
The Venom F5 is based on a carbon monocoque and weighs just 1360 kg. It has a power-to-weight ratio of 1298 hp per ton and is built to reach speeds in excess of 300 mph.
John Hennessey, recently revealed his plans to set a new speed record with the Venom F5. We can expect this American hypercar to make history later this year.
