McLaren has revealed the 720S GT3 Evo – an upgraded version of its GT3-spec mid-engined race car. The Evo package brings to the table improved durability, some aero upgrades and other minor tweaks.

Let’s start with the exterior, where the focus has been on improving the overall aerodynamic balance. The car gets a new front hood gurney, which also assists with cooling, while repositioned auxiliary lamps are said to provide better visibility at night. McLaren has made adjustments to the rear wing.

Under the skin, the McLaren 720S GT3 Evo features revised front and rear wishbones with Ohlins 4-way adjustable dampers, new uprights and more durable brakes.

The 720S GT3 Evo is expected to hit racetracks soon. Existing customers can also get their cars upgraded to the latest Evo spec.

As you may have guessed, the 720S GT3 Evo is based on the 720S. However, the street version is due to get an update as well. Dubbed the ‘750S’, the new model is likely to feature some cosmetic changes and a spruced-up engine.
