Extensive track testing of the 2027 Porsche 911 GT3 RS (992.2) continues. The upcoming sports car has been spotted at the Nurburgring once again, but this time it’s been filmed doing some hot laps of the Green Hell.
We can see the 2027 Porsche 911 GT3 RS (992.2) being driven hard on the track by different test drivers. The video also gives us a listen to the car’s sweet exhaust note. Such extreme testing is indeed required considering the kind of track tool this thing is.
While this test mule spotted is wearing heavy camouflage, earlier undisguised prototype sightings have revealed a few details of the new 992.2. Expect to see some revised aero work, especially at the front – redesigned front bumper and hood for more downforce and better cooling.
Apart from that, the massive rear wing would be slightly altered, again, for improved aero. There is going to be a set of huge front disc brakes, which could be ceramic, to provide the much-needed stopping power. No changes to the engine and transmission are anticipated.
