2025 Porsche 911 GT3 RS MR aiming for a new Nurburgring lap record?

The Porsche 911 GT3 RS was recently spotted at the Nurburgring with Manthey Racing upgrades. The new GT3 RS MR will be even more track focused than the stock version, and is expected to improve on its previous lap record.

The 2025 Porsche 911 GT3 RS MR will feature both aero and chassis updates. The car is likely to get a massive rear spoiler with large end plates and a shark fin extending from the rear windshield. It will also get a tweaked front section with a large splitter and additional flicks on either side. Other upgrades will include adjustable coilovers, lightweight magnesium wheels, improved brakes and more.

The stock GT3 RS is powered by a 4.0-liter, naturally aspirated flat-6 engine that makes 525 hp and 342 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a 7-speed PDK, enabling the car to reach 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds. Its top speed is 184 mph.
