2025 Audi A6 debuts in Avant (Wagon) form
Audi has revealed the next-generation A6 Avant. The premium midsize wagon will go on sale this month, with prices starting at €58,000. Deliveries will begin at the end of May 2025. The sedan version will be launched next month.
The latest iteration of the Audi A6 Avant looks rather muscular, even in its basic avatar. The front fascia is dominated by a large singleframe grille, flanked by triangular vents and a pair of sleek-looking LED headlights.
The A6 Avant has a classic station wagon look with an elongated bonnet, a long, sloping roofline, and a hatchback at the rear. It gets redesigned LED lights at the back with a full-width LED lightbar and dual rectangular exhausts. Audi claims the new A6 Avant is the most aerodynamic Audi wagon ever made. It has a drag coefficient of 0.25.
The interior has a contemporary look and features a triple-screen layout. There’s a new steering wheel with a 11.9-inch instrument cluster and a massive 14.9-inch touchscreen in the centre. Audi now offers an optional 10.9-inch screen for the front passenger as well.
The new Audi A6 Avant is available with a range of petrol and diesel engines. The base version is powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder turbo-petrol producing 201 hp and 250 lb-ft of torque. The bigger 3.0-liter V6 mild-hybrid makes a more respectable 362 hp and 406 lb-ft. The midsize estate car is also available with a 2.0-litre diesel mild-hybrid engine.
Audi is also expected to offer sportier flavours like the S6 and RS6 Avant. The latter is rumored to use a V6 plug-in hybrid producing around 725 hp.
