Porsche will soon reveal the all-new 911 Sport Classic. However, we couldn’t wait to see the car. Luckily for us, these pictures arrived in the mail ahead of the official unveiling.
The styling of the 992-gen Porsche Sport Classic is similar to its predecessor. We love the grey colour with the stripes running along the centre line. Interestingly, the hood and roof appear to have been redesigned for this model.
Moving to the rear, the biggest difference between a regular 911 and the Sport Classic is the ducktail spoiler. I don’t think there’s a Porsche enthusiast who doesn’t like a ducktail rear. The car also has the Porsche decals on the side and a racing number.
The interior is a dual-tone affair with hints of the old 911. The brown leather with the tweed pattern is just perfect for car that “Classic” in its name.
Now, rumors suggest that the new Sport Classic packs a 3.8-liter, twin-turbo flat-6 engine that develops 550 hp. It will be offered with a manual transmission only.
Earlier, we had reported that the production was likely to be limited to 992 units. Well we have now heard that the final number could be 1,250 units.
