$2.5 Million Bugatti Chiron: This could be it

VW Group boss Dr. Ferdinand Piëch may have stepped down from his post, however the development of the Bugatti Chiron continues. The Chiron is the replacement for the legendary Bugatti Veyron which was the brainchild of the long time Volkswagen boss man. Car and Driver has posted a digital rendering of the upcoming Chiron hypercar and it is yet another attempt at visualizing the next-gen 250 mph+ Bugatti.

It is believed that the Bugatti Chiron will use a hybrid powertrain with a combined output of 1500 hp- 300 hp more than the outgoing Bugatti Veyron Super Sport. It would be based around a heavily modified carbon fiber structure for reduced weight and ergonomics. We could see a jet fighter-like canopy roof making its debut on the Chiron- it is something that Bugatti designer might consider to improve visibility.

Initial estimates of the price tag on the Bugatti Chiron are almost double that of the of the original Veyron EB 16.4. How about shelling out at least $2.5 million for the latest Bugatti hypercar?
