Tesla Roadster trademark reveals glimpse of its new design
Tesla has filed two new trademark applications for the next-generation Roadster. It includes a new “Roadster” wordmark and a simple line sketch showing the basic silhouette of the car.
Last year, during a shareholder meeting, CEO Elon Musk revealed that the production of the new Tesla Roadster was expected to begin in mid-to-late 2027. However, we might not have to wait that long to see the car after all, as a demo event is scheduled for April 1, 2026.

The Tesla Roadster was first introduced in 2008. The second-generation model arrived in 2017. It was priced between $200,000 and $250,000 back then and promised fairly brisk performance. Musk claimed the Roadster could sprint from 0-60 mph in just 1.9 seconds and had a top speed of over 250 mph.
