Stolen Ferrari Purosangue crashes during a police pursuit in Miami

A stolen Ferrari Purosangue crashed during a police pursuit in Miami earlier this week. Videos posted on social media show the driver trying to evade the cops after hitting a utility pole in Brickell.

The crash, involving a grey Ferrari, happened on Southwest 2nd Avenue between 12th and 13th streets. The impact was so intense that it destroyed the driver’s side, bending the chassis.

The Miami Police responded to the scene after a woman reported her car stolen. When cops arrived at the scene, they saw the subject entering the SUV and driving off.

The police tried to stop the driver, but in his attempt to flee, the driver lost control and crashed into another police car and a light pole.

The suspect was identified as Deshawn Prendergast, 28. Surprisingly, he was let off on a bond after he claimed his innocence, saying that he was never in the stolen car.
