Lewis Hamilton visits famous Daikoku Parking in a Ferrari F40
The car culture in Japan needs no introduction. It’s the land of Initial D, bosozoku and the touge. One of the must-visit places in Japan for car enthusiasts is the Daikoku Parking Area in Yokohama. Even 7-time Formula 1 world champion, Lewis Hamilton, couldn’t resist and decided to pay a visit.
Hamilton arrived at Daikoku in a Ferrari F40. The crowd went crazy when they saw a red F40 pull up and park between a Subaru Impreza and a widebody Honda NSX. But the real surprise came when the driver switched off the engine and stepped out of the car.
Lewis loves Japan, and this isn’t the first time that he has been spotted driving in the country. Earlier, he had been spotted putting a Nissan R34 GT-R through its paces on the Tokyo Express Highway.
