Gordon Murray Automotive Le Mans GTR showcased at Retromobile 2026
This year, Gordon Murray Automotive brought the GMA Le Mans GTR to Retromobile. The highly exclusive supercar was unveiled at the Joe Macari stand.
The Le Mans GTR was announced last year. It’s a track-focused supercar inspired by iconic race cars from the past, such as the Matra-Simca MS660, Porsche 917, and Alfa Romeo Tipo 33/3.
The car has a unique longtail design with an extreme aero package that includes a low-slung front splitter, a twin-channel rear diffuser and a spoiler supported by two central pylons. It features enhanced ‘Passive Boundary Layer Control’ for low drag. Inside, it gets a new dash with redesigned switches and dials, new seat cushioning and reworked pedals.
Powering the Le Mans GTR is a GMA V12 engine that revs to 12,100 rpm. It is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The supercar has stiffer and lighter suspension, a wider track, larger Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, improved cooling and optimised weight distribution.
Gordon Murray Special Vehicles (GMSV) is building only 24 examples of the Le Mans GTR.
