Fernando Alonso out and about in Monaco in his LaFerrari
Around Christmas, an $11 million Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR was spotted in Monaco with Fernando Alonso at the wheel. The Formula 1 driver was spotted again earlier this week, this time while he was out for a spin in his LaFerrari.
Alonso has had this LaFerrari for a while. It may not be as valuable as his CLK-GTR but is still quite special. It is finished in Nero DS Opaco, which essentially is matte black with red accents. The wheels are painted to match the exterior, while the brake calipers are painted red.
Powered by a 6.3-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine, the LaFerrari’s internal combustion engine produces 789 hp, while the electric motor adds another 161 hp for a combined output of 950 hp and 664 lb-ft. The hypercar is capable of sprinting from 0-62 mph in under 3 seconds and a top speed of 217 mph.
