Aston Martin’s first electric Lagonda, based on the Vision concept, takes shape
Update: It’s the first prototype of the CEER Motors electric car.
December 14, 2025
Aston Martin’s first electric car has been caught testing for the first time. It seems the carmaker has resumed the development of the Lagonda EV following an initial delay.
The first electric Lagonda will be based on the 2018 Lagonda Vision Concept. Despite being covered in heavy camouflage, it’s quite evident that the Lagonda EV will feature a radical design.

The Lagonda EV has a flat, highly raked front windshield and a sharp nose section, which houses slim wraparound LED headlamps. The car appears to have an extremely low roofline, creating a wedge shape for a highly aerodynamic design.

The Lagonda EV is expected to be powered by two ultra-high-performance electric motors and a “Wunderbox” battery. Lucid claims a maximum range of more than 800 km and a peak output of 820 hp.
