Chevrolet has introduced a new special edition Corvette, but you can’t have one because it’s limited to the Japanese domestic market, and only 15 units are being built.
The Japan-specific Chevy Corvette V8 Touring comes in a special Red Mist Metallic exterior with Sterling Silver racing stripes. Inside, you get Natural Tan upholstery and a black steering wheel.

Besides the eye-catching colour scheme, the Corvette V8 Touring also gets a front splitter, a low-profile rear spoiler, a red engine cover and forged wheels in a nickel finish paired with black brake calipers. The special edition Corvette also comes with GT2 bucket seats as standard.

This Japanese-spec Corvette is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 engine that delivers 495 hp @ 6450 rpm and 470 lb-ft @ 5150 rpm. It is paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The Corvette V8 Touring is priced at 21.5 million yen, which is about 1.9 million yen more than the standard Corvette convertible.
