Elon Musk’s Tesla is all set to reveal the next-generation Roadster on October 15. The livestream will begin at 7:55 pm Central.

The Tesla Roadster is one of the most anticipated electric cars of 2026. It was first revealed in 2017. A year later, Musk even launched one into space aboard a SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket. However, in 9 years, not a single unit was delivered. Those who had pre-ordered one finally saw a ray of hope when Tesla announced that it would unveil the new Roadster in October. The event was initially planned for October 1 but was later postponed.

Tesla dropped the first teaser of the new Roadster last month. It included a cryptic image of a futuristic car and a countdown to its reveal. The company claims that its all-new electric sports car will be “the quickest vehicle in the world, with record-setting acceleration, range, and performance.”

A recent patent filing suggests that the Roadster could get an active rear spoiler similar to the McLaren W1. The wing sits flush with the bodywork and can extend to generate additional downforce. It can also pivot to reduce aerodynamic drag at higher speeds.

In addition to revealing the production version, Tesla might also announce the pricing and start of production at the upcoming event.
