Canada is the next stop for Geely, as the Chinese automaker prepares to introduce its mainstream brand to the country in 2027. The company has established a local operation, but there’s still one big question: which cars will Canadians actually get?
Geely Auto Canada is now working on building a retail and service network, including finding local partners. That’s an important step for a brand entering a new market.

The company hasn’t revealed its first Canadian models, pricing or dealership locations. Instead, it says it’ll pick a handful of vehicles from its global lineup, leaving plenty of room for speculation about what cars would be selected.
Geely plans to bring its expertise in electrification, safety technology and intelligent features to the Canadian market, combining its global engineering resources with local knowledge.
More details are expected in the coming months, ahead of the first vehicle launches in 2027. Until then, the interesting part is seeing which Geely models will get the nod.
