A hardcore version of the Denza Z has been spotted attacking the Nurburgring, and it certainly looks like the Chinese electric sports car is being put through its paces. The prototype was seen pushing hard around the famous German circuit, raising an obvious question: is Denza preparing for a serious lap-time run?
This appears to be the track-focused version, identifiable by its large rear wing and more aggressive bodywork. The car also gets revised bumpers and retractable door handles, giving it a sharper appearance than the regular Z.

There is plenty of performance to back up the aggressive look. The Denza Z uses a tri-motor electric powertrain producing a staggering 1,582 hp and 915 lb-ft of torque. That is enough to propel it from 0 to 62 mph in just 2.25 seconds.
The Denza Z recently started arriving at dealerships in China. It is slated to be launched in the fourth quarter of 2026.
