A manual Porsche Panamera may sound unusual, but the German brand’s Sonderwunsch division says it could be possible if a customer is willing to pay for the work.
Alexander Fabig, who oversees the bespoke program, confirmed that Porsche is looking at custom powertrain projects, including manual transmissions and even engine or gearbox swaps.
When asked specifically whether a customer could commission a manual Panamera, Fabig gave a clear answer: “Yes, yes, yes.”
That doesn’t mean Porsche is planning to offer a manual Panamera as part of the regular lineup. Instead, it would be a one-off project developed specifically for an individual customer. Such a build would likely require considerable engineering and would come at a high cost.
So, while a manual Panamera isn’t currently on Porsche’s regular order list, the company appears open to building one for the right customer.
