We’ve come across a new 2027 Mercedes-AMG CLE 63 spy video in which the performance sedan has been captured up close in traffic. And it isn’t alone. It has a trailer attached to its back end.
The prototype spotted has a matte black exterior finish and is wearing camouflage at the front and back. But there are a few elements that can be seen. For instance, the rear end has large LED taillamps with the 3-pointed star-shaped treatment on the inside. We also have a boot lid-mounted rear spoiler, a sporty bumper and quad exhaust outlets.

The 2-door sedan is running on some really cool-looking multi-spoke black alloys that complement the matte black paint. Apart from that, there is a prominent side skirt. As for the front end, based on the earlier spy shots, expect the car to feature a big grille with vertical slats and the three-pointed star in the middle, tweaked bumper design, perhaps to integrate more aerodynamic contours.
The 2027 Mercedes-AMG CLE 63 is likely to be powered by the brand’s new flat-plane crank V8 engine. Currently doing duties in the latest S-Class, this 4.0L unit makes 530 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque. It would be tuned differently to handle the responsibilities on the new CLE 63.
As per the Instagram video, this test mule has been spotted in the US. But why it is carrying a trailer with it remains unknown.
