The Bugatti Tourbillon Équipe Pur Sang features an enormous 8.3-litre V16, but we’ve found a driver’s-eye video from Pebble Beach that shows just how quickly this naturally aspirated monster can climb through the rev range.
Captured from behind the wheel, the footage shows the Tourbillon being revved several times, and the response is genuinely startling. Despite the engine’s size, the V16 spins up so fast that it feels more like a much smaller performance engine, like that of a superbike.

We also shared a video earlier this week in which Bugatti CEO Mate Rimac can be seen having a fun time with the Tourbillon Équipe Pur Sang. He was sitting inside the hypercar and giving it some revs.
The Bugatti Tourbillon uses a naturally aspirated 8.3-litre V16 engine that works alongside three electric motors to produce a staggering 1,800 horsepower. The Équipe Pur Sang package adds a handful of bespoke touches to Bugatti’s already extravagant hypercar. These include exterior inscriptions, a small configurable wing and distinctive eight-outlet exhaust tips. Customers can also choose from multiple wheel designs. This package reportedly costs around $240,000.
