A video on social media shows Bugatti design boss Frank Heyl firing up his bespoke Veyron and then casually driving away in the hypercar. The footage is said to be of the recently concluded Monterey Car Week.
We can see in the video clip the Bugatti Veyron ‘Le Directeur’ starting with a loud rumble and flapping its rear wing, which has the Le Directeur script on its underside. Then we get to see the one-off model being driven away at a slow pace. It has the wheels from the Chiron Profilée, which have been painted to match the exterior. And on the move, they look phenomenal.

Based on chassis 795021, this special Veyron has been customised by Frank himself and features a soothing metallic green exterior with L’Or Blanc-inspired graphics in a lighter shade.

On the inside, it has a two-tone tan and cream leather upholstery with a headliner that appears to feature some of the sketches Frank has created during his time as Bugatti’s design head. The car also has a centre console with the Veyron’s signature aluminium finish.
