This is something that we haven’t seen in a while. A gorgeous and rare McLaren Elva has been spotted in the UK. The open-cockpit roadster was captured in a stunning blue, roaming the streets.

The limited-edition Elva is the fifth in the McLaren Ultimate Series, after the F1, the P1, Senna, and the Speedtail. One of its most interesting bits is that, unlike other roadsters, this one doesn’t even have a windshield!

Inspired by the open-top race cars developed by Bruce McLaren in the 1960s, the Elva is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 that is capable of pumping out 804 hp and 590 lb ft of torque. This powerhouse is shared with other high-end McLarens like the Senna and the Speedtail.

As per available info, the Elva initially had a run of 399 units globally. But production was then reduced to 249, and later only 149 examples of this rare supercar were made.
