Aston Martin has pulled the covers off its newest limited-edition V12 grand tourer, the Valen. Only 150 cars will be produced for the entire world.
The Aston Martin Valen comes with full carbon fibre body panels that reduce the weight of the body structure by 25 kg. The design looks unique and distinctly Aston Martin.
The sharp-looking front end features slim LED headlights and a massively vented front bumper. In the rear, it has connected LED taillights and a unique quad exhaust setup.
Inside, the Valen comes loaded with all the bells and whistles you would expect from an Aston Martin. It has a sporty steering wheel with paddle shifters, a digital dash and a sloping centre console area.
Under the hood is a 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 engine that produces 838 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque, which makes the Valen the most powerful front-engined V12 in the brand’s history.
The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, which sends power to the rear wheels via an electronic rear limited-slip differential.
The Valen weighs 110 kg less than Aston’s standard V12 platform. The car rides on new springs and dampers and is fitted with carbon-ceramic brakes.
