Ferrari has unveiled a new one-off hybrid supercar created for a US client. The new Ferrari CZ26, based on the SF90 Stradale, will be presented at Monterey Car Week.
The CZ26 was designed by the Ferrari Design Studio under the Special Projects programme. The distinct styling incorporates elements from other Ferrari models like the 12Cilindri and the new Luce EV.
The front end, with its full-width functional grille and slim LEDs, reminds us of the brand’s first electric vehicle, the Luce. It has a sculpted bumper with an integrated splitter.
The rear of the CZ26 has a hint of 12Cilindri. The quad LED taillights and the overall shape of the rear fascia are reminiscent of the V12 grand tourer. The two-tone wheels, though, are unique to the CZ26.
Under the skin is the same 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 hybrid powertrain from the SF90, which is paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. Ferrari claims a 0-62 mph time of 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 204 mph.
