The iconic Jensen Interceptor is set to make a comeback, this time as a track-only machine with a supercharged V8.
Behind the revival is Jensen International Automotive, a firm already known for its restomods of classic Jensen models. But the new Interceptor GTX isn’t just a reworked classic. It’ll be an entirely new creation, built from the ground up.

Details remain limited, but here’s what we know. The Jensen Interceptor GTX will feature a lightweight aluminium body and chassis, paired with a supercharged V8 engine.
JIA is promising a “fully analogue” experience, which means the supercar would come equipped with physical controls, minimal digital interference, and—hopefully—a manual gearbox.

There’s no confirmed debut date yet. However, managing director David Duerden has hinted that the reveal could align with the 60th anniversary of the original Interceptor.
