Christian von Koenigsegg began work on his first-ever hypercar back in the early 90s. It was called the CC, and by 1994, the first prototype, known as XP 001, was ready.
The elusive one-of-one Koenigsegg CC XP 001 was last seen at the Monterey Car Week in 2025. It recently made a surprise appearance at the Secret Meet 2026 held at the Silverstone Circuit in the UK. It was flown in all the way from Dubai.

The Koenigsegg CC XP 001 is based on a semi-carbon fibre monocoque and features the brand’s signature dihedral doors and a removable hard top. The car was initially painted silver before being repainted black. Today, the XP 001 has a brilliant metallic bronze exterior, while the interior is lined in blue Alcantara.
Powering the CC is an Audi-sourced 4.2-liter V8 engine paired with a manual gearbox. It may not be as fast or advanced as some modern Koenigsegg hypercars, but it’s still special, as it’s not just about the numbers.
