Alpine A110 Future makes dynamic debut at Goodwood

1 Min Read

Alpine has offered a glimpse into its electric future at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The development mule of the Alpine A110 Future made its global dynamic debut at the event. It was driven by BWT Alpine Formula One Team driver Pierre Gasly with the Duke of Richmond as passenger.

Built on the new Alpine Performance Platform (APP), the A110 Future retains the spirit of a lightweight, driver-focused coupe, with an electric twist. The architecture is modular, designed to support multiple body styles, yet here it underpins a classic two-seat layout.

What’s particularly clever is the battery packaging. Instead of a traditional flat floor, Alpine splits the pack—25% at the front and 75% at the rear. This allows the car to maintain the low height and driving position of today’s A110, while also improving weight distribution and cabin usability.

Power comes from a dual rear motor setup featuring Alpine’s new Active Torque Vectoring 2.0 system. With high-revving e-motors spinning up to 21,500 rpm and advanced torque management, the focus is on agility over outright bulk.
