A Ferrari was engulfed in flames on a busy street in Hong Kong’s Tin Shui Wai on Monday morning. The incident took place opposite the Ginza Light Rail Station, resulting in serious traffic congestion.
As per reports, the driver noticed the issue and exited the black supercar just before reporting the fire at around 10:41 AM. Thankfully, there were no passengers inside, and no injuries have been reported.
Videos of the scene soon surfaced online. Viral clips show firefighters battling the fire as thick smoke poured out, which could be seen from a distance. Fire crew deployed one water hose and a breathing apparatus team, and they took control of the situation in approximately 28 minutes.
The Ferrari sustained heavy damage. The front-left section appears to have taken the worst hit, with part of the windscreen shattered and the left-side window completely destroyed.
As of now, the exact cause of the fire remains unknown, and an investigation is currently ongoing.
